1. Before the update

1.1 Back up your data.

1.2 Update when no one is using ZenTao.

1.3 Read the update instruction.


2. After the update

2.1 Each new version has new features added, so the first thing to do for an admin is to check the privileges after the update.

2.2 Try the new features and do training if necessary.


3. Update ZenTao Group

3.1 Download source code package from https://www.zentao.pm/download.html. 


3.2 Unzip the file and override the old files with new ones, e.g.  /var/www/html/zentaogroup.


Unzip the package in  /var/www/html/ 


sudo unzip -o ZenTaoGroup.1.1.php7.0.zip


3.3 Run upgrade.php

If your URL is http://zentao.plat.com, the update path is http://zentao.plat.com/ upgrade.php.


Create ok.txt.
